In most cases, pursuing and killing an unarmed young man half your weight and age IS, even if he HAS beaten the crap out of you. What civilized people do is call the police ( who were already on the way ) and let them deal with it. The police report came from Zimmerman. Martin was dead and unable to contribute. Even the AUTHORS of the law say that Zimmerman doesn't qualify for it's protections and should be arrested.
