Well - Sunspot 1429 (produced geomagnetic storms earlier this month) is due to face Earth again in about a week. It's still quite active (link shows picture of coronal explosion from 1429 on far side of sun). Lots of instability over Pacific Ocean. Yes, a solar flare would change the tracking pattern of storms...but cold-air wave is strong. This will be a tug-of-war. Still expect snow storms (1 or 2) in Dakota's, northern Minnesota, Ontario with freeze outbreak from Oklahoma to Virgina/Carolina...lots of variability. Again, not rare for end of April, but after such mild 2 months, it'll be perceived as extreme.

I note similar emotions with market fluctuations, that's why it's interesting to me :)
