Nitesh, Adams Harkness downgraded a lot of semi equip stocks all at once. The reasons given were Asia and falling DRAM prices.

From my point of view, the stock prices already have these factors built in. Too often, analysts wait until a stock has plunged, and then they cut their rating. After things get better and the stock recovers, they will raise their rating again. A customer could lose a lot of money following the changes in their recommnedations.
