(If some armed stranger, not a law enforcement officer, followed me, and chased me I might very well jump out and confront the guy. "Stand your ground", remember, gives me the exact same rights as the other guy to "stand my ground". And... who sez who threw the first punch? I wasn't there, neither were you. but if some stranger I was talking to tried pulling a gun out on me I *damn well* would have jumped right on him to try to protect myself. Exactly as the law provides for of course!)
