Then remember too, that although the passing of COMDEX weakens the techs,

abbreviated weeks such as this one creates thin pits and trading floors allowing for sharper, nuttier moves. Taking advantage of these swings requires fast decisions.

The year-end seasonality means that most of the reports you will hear will downplay Asia and predictions of broad earnings gains in '98 seem (to me, at least) political in nature....but designed to help create a seasonal rally.

A difficult week to trade, you might want to consider picking your sell points and leave day sell orders instead of trying to pick turns.
