That is a very simple design for personal protection that you could carry in your shirt pocket. It is very light and simple to operate as well.

It is, however, much more expensive than you would think by looking at it in a picture. That's because it is made out of titanium. Price is in the $700-$800 range.

Update: the video Josh posted says the Double Tap is $499.

It would probably be very uncomfortable to shoot with a .45 ACP or 9 mm.
