I think criticism during an election of one's own candidate strengthens the other side. I still think that. Would I like everyone here to just focus on criticizing the republicans? Yes. Yes I would. Do you think I care how many posts there are here? I've got an agenda much more important to me than the number of posts. 1st, if words mean anything, and I'm not sure they do, but just in case, I'd like to make sure Obama get reelected. Secondly, I like to chat with my friends here, and keep out the trolls (like they guy I had to ban yesterday). I think most moderators have some idea of the kinds of thoughts they'd like to see- except on the crazy unmoderated threads, which devolve into crap slinging matches. There are lots of ideas I'd like to see people keep to themselves. Anti-Obama ideas. Conspiracy ideas. Racist ideas. And so many more. There's a long list of ideas I'm really not interested in seeing- doesn't mean I ban folks for them, unless they are troll-bagger wingnuts. Then I do. But there are some ideas here, that I don't ban, that I could easily do without.
