Wayners, I think it's pretty simple. Healthcare is available for purchase. If you want aetna its at www.aetna.com , if you want Kaiser it's a www.kaiserpermanente.com they each have a plan that is right for your age and a corresponding cost.

If you can't afford any of their plans you need to look at yourself in the mirror and reflect on your life's choices.

Could you be more specific by your statement, "look at yourself in the mirror, and reflect on your life's choices?"

What would you do with the 50 million who do not have health insurance and go to the emergency room for treatment? Should the hospitals be required to threat them at the hospital expense, or should the hospitals deny treatment to the patient? How high should the insurance companies raise rates to cover the increase cost of a smaller insurance pool of clients? Should we taxpayers continue to pay for the uninsured? Should the elderly who can not afford the premiums be allowed to go without insurance and die from lack of treatment?

I have worked with Seniors who currently have to make a choice between food and medicine cost. What would you do for those who can not pay for their insurance or medicine?
