Albert, I recall reading somewhere that consumer installment debt was at or near a record percentage of disposable income in the U.S. .Unfortunately, I don't recall the # . Along the same lines I recall that credit card delinquencies were at a record % of outstanding balances approx. 5.22% if memory serves. personal bankruptcies are running at record levels and expected to rise.
