If he doesn't want to join the organization its voluntary. If its his parents choice is their voluntary decision, although it may be involuntary for him. He might not be happy about it, but they made the decision. Forcing an organization to change because he's unhappy with their policies is unreasonable, and if that's what's commonly done, then its borderline totalitarian.
