This Mega Millions record lottery is a real mania. Several times the local news has announced that all possible number combinations have been chosen, so there will be a winner tonight. I suspect there will be a winner tonight, given all the buying, but I wonder about ALL number combinations being chosen. Only the lottery computer would know that, and I haven't heard it from them. The odds are 176 million to one, which means 176 million combinations. Even with 100s of millions of tickets being sold, most of them random quick picks. there are bound to be 1000s of repeated number combination.

That being said, if I have to share the jackpot, it won't bother me too much. <G>

Why do I keep thinking of Shirley Jackson and shivering? <VBG>
