I have to disagree with Jesse here. Compare how MS is handling the DOJ Consent Decree thing with how it handled the SCO thing as described in the News.com article linked by you. Just a guess, but I think Chairman Bill is just picking his battles -- being stubborn when he thinks he can win and the benefits out weigh the costs.
