I had lunch with two friends today one of which I haven't seen in a long time. She is one of those people I'd call very liberal. During our conversation she asked what I'd been doing with my time. I started telling her all about by role as a co-coordinator of my local TP group and my research on Agenda 21. 30 seconds in she abruptly interrupted me and asked the other lady that was with us a question. She obviously couldn't care less what I am doing with my time because it includes something she hates. She hates the TP because they represent everything she fears. IMO the true lack of concern or interest is usually what gets in the way of a good conversation.
