For the record, PartyTime is alive and well and concentrating on music. I'm also a bit disappointed that no Democrat, since Truman, has served eight years in the presidency unimpeded. I write this 'cause Clinton's second term was marred by GOPwinger-induced impeachment by a Republican-controlled House and Senate. I'm disappointed that Republicans have held the presidency for 36 years; Democrats for only 22 (including Truman's eight years!) since the time of the modern age (atomic bomb). I'm further upset that Republican appointments have, for the most part, headed departments of the executive government; that Republican appointments dominate both the Supreme Court (5-4) and the Federal courts ca. 1,200 to 700. Consider that in the name of freedom of the individual; the individual becomes shredded tuna compared the lobsterial ways of the Republican corporate elite and its need for protecting the wealth of only the upper one percent.
