I doubt that there are very few "amatuers" in AVNT. My guess is that the vast majority of trading in AVNT is controlled by short sellers and institutional shareholders. Very few major brokerage firms follow AVNT and of those that do, most of them have the customary "neutral" rating for a stock surrounded with controversy and legal clouds.
My point was that on a trading basis AVNT has gone from 36 to 20 in 6 months, every other time that has happened AVNT has rallied back into the mid 30's. It looks to me that this is a good place to exit shorts
(or go long) for a move back to mid-30's. The legal news that came out on Friday should have been expected and the move down in AVNT's stock was exagerrated by options trading and expiration. IMO.
