You are politically naive if you don't think get at the vote campaigns don't target demographics, including race. It was less than 100 years ago that WOMEN could not even vote... now THATS the kind of targeting of a class that is wrong. There needed to be a 15th amendment to the constitution so that black men could vote at all. Before Dred Scott was dumped, black Americans were not even seen under the law as equal.

The history is that white males, especially those with property and money, had great advantages. That white males or anyone would get upset that a get-out-the-vote effort might focus on African Americans is just passed-on generational anger at the diversity that our country represents in 2012.
