Sony encoder pricing and availability. Do you really think it will be sampling in 2 months? They're still behind CUBE's DVx................... Customer sampling of the Sony CXD1922Q is scheduled for January 1998, with an initial sampling price of $600. Manufacturing is expected to begin in 1Q'98.
