Shorts have been phoning around for shares to cover. Some shareholders have recently become aware that a Vancouver brokerage has been calling shareholders to find shares to cover a short position. This is not news for shareholders who have been staying in touch with each other privately by e-mail. The person making the calls is said to be rather testy - especially about the suggestion that trading may resume soon. Apparently, this person has had no luck in finding anyone to sell. Shareholders should be aware that this person appears to be willing to contravene VSE regulations which prohibit any registered representative from facilitating trades in shares which have been halted.
