Guess I am an "amateur" in this stock on the short side. Do you have any insights into the late day rally from the lows on Friday, Nov. 21, and the rally today. You indicated that you covered your short position on Friday (?) and felt that the stock could go upto the 30's. From the chart I see that in late April AVNT did indeed rebound from 20's to the 30's, but not before hitting 10 per share. Is there any possibility of AVNT being involved in a merger/takeover or is there just too much legal baggage? Any opinions, especially on their business strengths and weaknesses would be greatly appreciated.
