Oh. It is unlikely you would benefit in any way from reading the book, then.

I suppose it is true, that high profile Republicans (such as Santorum) who rail against the Science of Evolution and who support Creationism and other non-scientific ideologies, are likely the visible elements that would lead Scientists to distort the idea of Republican hostility to Science in such a fashion. I think when Scientists find themselves under attack by ideologues they may tend to stereotype and generalise their attackers. I think it is true that all stereotyping tends to distort the truth...but I realize that this in itself is a generalization...

If there were high profile Liberals declaring hostility to Evolution and support of Creationism--possibly a very compelling and believable book could be written.
