Why is this? I don't see why they would be in "weakest" position. They have a lot more cash than debt, as well as some side investments in companies that could conceivably be liquidated for a fair bit of money, if it comes to that in a couple of years. They also have some good products in the pipeline, with the new Medalist and Barracuda drives. True, their problems in the past 6 months have been daunting, and true that they won't simply go away overnight, but they've been in similar positions before (when the missed the initial 3.5 inch form factor shift, most especially), and have pulled through. Why do you think their position would be measurably worse than anyone elses in case of your "war" scenario?
