That's the kind of BS that drives me crazy.

If you are on the "right", you want smaller government and lower taxes.

If you are on the "left", you want to raise taxes to expand government services you think are required.

The middle ground between those two points is not a compromise that raises taxes less and increases spending less than the left wants from where they are now.

If I want the tax rate to be 10% and Obama wants it to be 40% and we compromise at 25%, next time around he'll want 50% and say let's compromise between 25% and 50%. If I keep making that compromise eventually he'll have everything. The "right" must define what it wants and never waver or it will be death by paper cuts.
