I've just read the most recent posts on this thread and thought I'd offer a QT alternative, in case anyone is interested.

Long ago Ameritrade began billing me to continue using QT. This was after a conversation with Medved just before he sold it, extending my use of it for a full year for an agreed upon discount.. I told Atrade I was going elsewhere since I don't trade with them anyway.

I downloaded the free version of Ninja Trader which I've been using for well over a year. I use the free version which doesn't allow trading directly from it, but I get my data from Interactive Brokers and trade on their TWS platform. Ninja does all the chart work just as I formerly used Quote Tracker, plus they have great support with fast response to questions and help.

Ninja Trader supports lots of data feeds and I've never had a problem with it.
