Well, almost all scientist's believe in AGW

That's probably not true except perhaps for the loosest definitions of AGW. The AGW that most Republicans are against is

"The world is rapidly warming solely or overwhelmingly because of human emission of CO2, and this warming is clear and certain beyond all reasonable doubt, and it will cause a major disaster if we don't stop it, so we should rapidly cut back on CO2 emissions in a big way.

If that's what you mean by "AGW" then its not accurate to say almost all scientists believe in it. If OTOH you mean something like "CO2 is a greenhouse gas", or "the average world temperature now is warmer than it was a hundred years ago", then you would get plenty of Republican support.

And as I said before people all over the place believe in all sorts of crazy ideas. For example there are all sorts of people who believe that high marginal tax rates have no negative effects. I've even run in to them on SI. Mostly from the left...

You can dismiss the crazy ideas if you want but you can't reasonably dismiss anyone who has any similarity to those holding the crazy ideas.
