The largest effect I believe to be working at this time is short selling the stock, pressuring the price, & covering partly by buying cheap warrants. It's not clear to me if the market makers and or the arbitrageurs can or are converting warrants to shares to cover.

There is certainly a selling pressure caused by the fact that the $16.5 megabucks required to convert the warrants has to come from somewhere. I need to sell something (stocks or warrants) to be able to convert even part of my warrants.
