Not land, Jer.....house that I posted about several weeks ago that I was offering to the "at that time " potential homeless posters on the TSO thread.........
The one that my sister and I inherited, I had sold last year carrying the paper, now in foreclosure proceedings.......
Well, I'm driving down the street yesterday and see a kid playing in the front yard.
I make a turn and go back.
Open the front door and walk in------there sits a complete house keeping set up.......couch, chairs, tv, in the dining room is a hutch, table, chairs.....I go down the hall into one of the bedrooms and there is a bed, night stands, lamps, clothes hanging in the closets, sheets, and bedspread, etc....
In the kitchen, there is a dude cooking dinner.......
Squatters--------he asks me who I am at the same time I ask him who he is-------
No trouble, had a visit and I told them, they would probably have to leave within the week.......but -----as I had not closed the foreclosure I didn't have the legal right to tell them to leave.......
After leaving, I had to laugh to myself and that's what I was doing when I walked in the front door when I got home........
Really got more upset trying to tell my wife why I couldn't kick them out and/or call the police than I did with the squatters themselves.....heh heh.
