Father E. Quite all right! None of us really know the inventory problems with USR modems. Since this is a small percentage of their business we will just have to wait until their CC and quarterly report(about Dec 19th). The problem seems to be a result of the bruhaha going on with Rockwell and the competing modem standards. They are still manufacturing products. Both Rockwell and the USRBotics divison will still sell modems under the new standard. Both competeing modems can be upgraded with software. There is no problem with this. Eric
