LOL you posted it, so you should have provided a link so that the context could be determined. It's not clear that you wouldn't have opposed the Thirteenth Amendment against slavery on similar grounds. Every Human Right in the US Constitution takes for granted the biblical principals of Human rights explicitly laid out in the Declaration. Every "person" is entitled to equal protection under the law. Blacks were not legal persons then and the Unborn are not legal persons NOW. Roe is destined to be overturned as incredibly bad Law. "the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them.... We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."
