Indeed they should. GOP is not doing a good job at educating the public. I don't recall seeing anywhere the dollar amounts of the borrowing per person.

I agree the GOP is doing a lousy job in this regard. This is where the GOP national organization should be hitting it hard. It's April in an election year, come on. One thing that really would hit home is pushing an ad that explains how our national debt to GDP when factoring in state and local governments and Medicare and SSI exceeds 900%, and comparing that to other industrial nations, and Greece in particular. If that doesn't wake up the independents, nothing will.
