The real truth is most of the uninsured simply choose not to purchase it because they are young and would rather buy stuff, go on dates, and fun with their money rather than buy insurance. That's why this crazy law turns 26 year adults into what it calls "adult children". There is no such thing as adult children. That's BS. They are hoping to force their parents to pay for their insurance up until age 26 because the young adults won't buy it because they probably don't need it. Many will need it after all from an accident most likely or an illness, and they will end up on the pre-existing condition rolls. They are adults and if you play the roulette wheel and lose and get sick in your 20s without insurance, well you lost and live with the financial consequences.
