It is the memory of the people that Obama counted on being faulty. I agree with Obama to an extent, but here is where Obama's thinking was flawed. People were so irritated by his heathcare law, because nobody read it and then they voted on it. The words of Pelosi: We have to pass this bill to see what's in it, so upset the populace that only left wing zealots were not left with at least a "gulp" in their throat. Barely passing and calling it a strong majority only brought the issue to the fore and awakened our sleeping memory.
