This young Marine Sergeant obviously isn't the smartest guy in the world. He was warned once about his activities, and was asked to stop posting such comments on public forums. He thought he would just continue ... probably with an attitude of "I'll do what I want. I have my rights".

So, he kept it up. It is now going to get him dismissed from the Marines with an "OTH" (Other than Honorable) discharge.

I don't feel sorry for him in the least. He made his choices and now he has to live with the consequences. I agree that he should be discharged, immediately. While serving in any of the Armed Forces, such conduct will most definitely result in some "unpleasant attention". Tough way to leave the service, but he made that decision himself, through his actions. Actions by agitators like Sergeant Stein are contrary to good discipline and morale in the military service. When one chooses to serve in the military, one voluntarily surrenders some 'rights' they formerly enjoyed. It is no secret, and everyone is instructed accordingly.

This man has no one to blame but himself.
