"Regarding the sixth sentence of this paragraph, Defendants further admit that Defendant
Bordynuik found a catalyst that could be utilized to break down unwashed mixed plastics into
liquid hydrocarbons (i.e., oil) in the process of compiling an archive of recovered scientific and
research data from various sources, but deny that he merely claimed to have done so. "

Hmmm. The important issue isn't whether Bordynuik found "a catalyst". It's whether Bordynuik found a remarkable catalyst that is better than any other currently in use, to which JBI Inc has ownership rights, and that would allow JBI to convert plastic to oil at a total cost of $10.00/bbl. That's JBI's raison d'etre. That's why investors bought shares.

I'm guessing that the tape on which JBI claims to have found "a catalyst" no longer exists, so it won't hurt to stick to his guns and lie about that.

Will the SEC even go after this point, since their charges are all about the fraud surrounding the media credits?
