So George W. Bush, reports Politico, is laying low these days, avoiding the spotlight that shone briefly on his father and his brother Jeb recently as they endorsed Mitt Romney’s candidacy.

A rather stupid remark. GWB has been "laying low" since January 2009, never ONCE criticizing or even commenting on the failed Obama presidency. Because he recognizes that it is essentially anti-American for an ex-president to run around criticizing his successor. GWB is an absolute professional, and would never, ever criticize a sitting president like Carter or Clinton. It just wouldn't happen.

Bush set his views out clearly in his bio, and I think he [correctly] understands that there will always be those who remember their own versions of the facts and would never, ever credit him with his successes.

One thing is certain: George W. Bush saved more lives than any president in history. ANY PRESIDENT IN HISTORY.
