It's almost as if he's doing a parody of a typical scam-victim who repeatedly falls for these types of things.

As you said, acceptance of everything from Bordynuik as Gospel is only part of the issue. It's like he suffers from some type of affliction that completely incapacitates that part of his brain responsible for logical inference. An intellectual disability, making it impossible for him to make sense of anything that follows from facts already proven.

It doesn't help that he's intellectually dishonest, always bending the facts until he's caught in a lie or inconsistency, at which point he goes silent.

I'm still uncertain as to whether it's for real, or just an act.
