The full weight of all the crimes of all of humanity-every murder, every theft, every lustful glance; every hidden act of vice, every modest moment of pride, and every monstrous deed of evil; every crime of every man who ever lived-these Jesus took upon Himself as if guilty of all
This is the kind of narrative & allusions comes from Paul's long stay in Corinth , a port trading city given to lots of transactional buying, selling , offering credit & paying of debts for goods , transportation, duties & debts etc . Paul is not recieving divine inspiration for this but using what he sees happening around him & applying his own coloration or whom ever wrote these lines .
In no way shape or form does this derive from the divine & has only the natural stamp of human circumstance using the example & metaphors of what activities were prominently surrounding these authors & applying this meaning to someone prominent activist death & sacrifice . In truth every human being lives a heroic life , for life is a great experience , granted muckied up with all kinds of suffering & unfairness , cheating, lying , profane abuses . And very few choose to stand against but then again there are many that have done .
