Because the guy's blatantly using using SI, whether his own board or not, to spam his blog. A member is a member, he's not Premium Plus or a Lifetime yet, but he is still a member Interesting. So even long term members like me (1997) are on the same level as second class citizens. So what's the point of paying up?
