Brad and I spoke about this with regards to another member and blog posting, this was Brad's response: Brad wrote: I think a good rule of thumb (for us) is posting a link to someone's own site is not okay if it's irritating people (i.e. more than one complaint). If someone is moderating their own thread, then they can post whatever they want to it (like Mishedlo used to do with his Global Economic Analysis blog: subject.aspx?subjectid=54696 ). Then if it's bothering anyone, they can simply not read the subject. Paying up? Huh??? Silicon Investor is now free and under new management. What happened in the past, is the past.
