The church we went to had a full view of the Mendenhall Glacier from about four miles away. It was too far to see mountain goats from the sanctuary. The church was so popular it wasn't much fun to go sometimes because it was so crowded. Sometimes it was standing room only. The Easter Sunrise service was outdoors, under a viewing shelter at the Mendenhall Visitor Center. There the mountain goats were only about a half mile away, so you could easily see them if you looked at the right time.
