The use of the present tense makes it sound as though they are already operating! Perhaps this is the surprise that was promised on this board: maybe Loral finished that satellite early, and it's already been launched and checked out, and is already beaming music to earth.

Who are these market research firms, and how independent are they? Has anyone actually called a thousand people at random, and asked them if they would sign up, at $10 a month?
-- Several important milestones including selection of an equipment manufacturer and programming deals should propel the stock higher over the next two years, he said.
If these things happen, they might propel the stock higher. On the other hand, if the company has trouble raising funds, if the public recognizes the significant dilution that may occur, if technical snags delay the program, or if a financial crisis in Japan leads to a worldwide depression, the stock should be propelled lower. |
