“All Human Beings are Human Persons!”

No. Human “person” is a legal and philosophical distinction. A fertilized egg is not a citizen or any other type of legal person--even though it is human DNA. That is a FACT.

The key definition in the 14th amendment is that a person is BORN or naturalized in the United States. Roe v Wade confirmed that a fetus does not meet this standard of personhood and is therefore not a legal person.

I take 'human being' to sometimes refer to a human person and to sometimes refer to just human DNA. So I prefer to use simply "human person" when referring to human life which is born and able to survive independently of the body of another person--just as the courts have ruled. It is not helpful or fruitful when people go stupid through accidental or deliberate misunderstandings! All human persons have human DNA but not all human DNA is a human person. This is simple logic that even a grade 5 student comprehends!

There is a distinction between human DNA and being a human person--an entity with interest and entitled to Rights and Freedoms!

In the same way, a human baby can never be a human senior. They both have human DNA but they are not the same. In this case they have different privileges. In the case of a human person and an egg, they have different Rights--the egg having absolutely NONE.

An egg is in the womb by permission--not by right. It is a simple concept and permits rational people to grant full rights to actual persons so that all human persons are treated equally, prima facie.
