yes people in general are that stupid and greedy as are the people running the financial system if they think the people are going to regulate themselves when they get access to easy credit. Kind of dumb like having taxpayer backed mortgage insurance on all the riskiest loans in the country for corporations which main business model is loaning money and growing at all costs.

i'm so glad the cmhc crisis is going to unfold during hapers reign, timing is everything and i for one can't wait for harper to flounder his way out of the 600 billion dollar payment(or more is the conservatives foolishly allow cmhc to grow its liabilities even further), all to bail out his banker buddies.
