Sean, I down load around 7000 stocks each night, it takes about 1 1/2 hours to do it. (that is a long est..no more than 1.5 hr) To tell you the truth..this may sound odd but I never used the CD. Metastock has the S&P 500 all ready to make a folder. I just made a folder of S&P 500 and all the OTC stocks that Metastock has and down loaded with a 10 year history. Yes..It took all day, but thats how I did it. Never had a problem. WARNING!! It sure eats up your hard drive. Space is used up very fast. I have dumped as much crap as I could. even took off works and stuff like that. But you probably already know this. greg
