Speaking for myself, LB, I'm not so sure that all of us here have "missed what Obama is." I think most of us see what is happening on a daily basis to this country because of this man, and are really upset, mad, and yes, fearful for our country and the people in it. NEVER before, has this country had anyone that at least half the country feels is actively trying to dismantle our very freedom and way of life. He has hired people we don't know, passes things to foreign leaders that are unheard of, plots and schemes on nearly everything he does. Even some of his supporters are crying "Wolf".....
Most of us have started to see what is happening, and really don't know how to stop the Obummer Train of Misery....short of going to the streets like some of his supporters. Most of us are peaceful and law abiding citizens. Most of us didn't hang with terrorists like the Weathermen of the 19960's-1970's. Most of us have raised our families, held jobs, and contributed to this country in so many positive ways. Most of us salute the flag when it comes by. Most of us help those who are less fortunate than we ....There isn't a person among us who is perfect.....BUT ALL of us care about this country.
I don't think we need to hope for bad times.....I think these are bad times, and we are to endure more bad times if this man continues in office. What I think we have to do is finally realize the situation, and start talking about it openly with our friends and those around us, no matter how uncomfortable it is.
The question "Are you better off today than you were Jan 1, 2009" should be asked of every person possible when we are out and about.
If they tell us Yes.....Let's find out why anyone would say that.
If they tell us NO, let's let them tell us why and tell us in their own voice outloud...Sometimes, when people actually verbalize something outloud, they start to realize the truth of what they just voiced....... |
