You are leaving out the pricing guarantee. Apple's deal meant that their retail price would always be the same as Amazon's....and their 30% cut meant that the publishers would get even less money from Apple than Amazon. That effectively guaranteed that prices would rise across the board. There is no "low price leader" under this scenario. Slacker
