It's really disheartening to read that Dantoni wouldn't discipline Carmelo for wrecking the team's offense: espn.go.com I don't know how anybody can be scared to confront Carmelo. Carmelo is such a wuss. I'm pretty sure most of the females on The Jersey Shore could kick his ass. So, the two issues that the NBA needed to clean up with the lockout were: 1. Coaches not having authority over star players 2. Excessive guaranteed contracts leading to players not trying With the Carmelo and Lamar Odom situations we can see that neither problem was solved.
