The MS CD is actually useless because Reuters offers
unlimited historical data. Another advantage is to download
data into several folders seamlessly. For example,
you can have several thousand symbols in the main folders.
And create a folder for potential trade candidates on a weekly
basis. I generally put 100 to 150 symbols into this daily watch
list. At the end of the day, first download data into the daily
watch list. This is pretty quick (1-2 mins). I can then start to
look the charts and download the rest to my main folders (run
the explorations, etc.). This saves me some time and have the
energy to do the analysis.

Just my two cents.
