SO, < Lol that was brilliant. > No it wasn't and BS knows it.

<it is indeed ironic how some small minds sanctimoniously preach against drugs while simultaneously indulging in the deadliest one of all. (I am not referring to MW here of course, as he is not dopey and thus would never do a dopey thing like poison brain cells with a beer. I just refer to the average kiwi.)>

Perhaps your problem is too many drugs addling what little sense you had. Are you currently 'high'?

<Btw, silicon valley wouldn't exist without LSD and cannabis. Very much the drugs of the creative entrepreneurial class. Jobs was pretty typical in this regard, (and the google and Facebook people are even more extreme). >

How much would you like to bet that Dr Irwin Jacobs and Andrew Viterbi ingested LSD and dope? I'll bet what you think you can afford to lose.

The fact that some of "the entrepreneurial and creative 'class'" might sometimes have poisoned themselves doesn't mean it was causal in their creativity or business success. I know you have trouble with causation and correlation, being scientifically illiterate, but you could read up on it. You might have hit on something though.

Maybe that's what's wrong with Facebook. I have been wondering. I'm looking forwards to shorting it.

Do you really think that taking LSD causes creativity and entrepreneurialism? That's what you wrote. As ElM pointed out, that is plain wrong. Neurotoxins can give a temporary lift in performance - such as staying awake longer, at the cost of subsequent performance. Nicotine gives an ephemeral lift in intelligence. People might think they are doing really well when drunk, but bridge abutments frequently bring them back to reality.

Why don't you tank up with a few wines, toke some LSD and go for a fast drive in the countryside in a sports car to see if you can literally fly? Go on, it'll be fun. Steve Jobs said it's great. You'll come up with some amazing new alternative fuels and how to get Cyberspace into 3D or maybe turn 3D into Cyberspace. Your thinking will be unbounded by its normal limits. Go fast because relativity theory means more ideas come the faster you go.
