Trye: Met with a 3Comm Sales Executive yesterday and he indicated that 3Comm will be announcing their first commercially available ADSL modems in about four weeks. He indicated that 3Comm will NOT be acquiring their way into the business, yet made a cryptic mention of the key to the industry as being the pursuit of intellectual property, and that property will inevitably fall into the hands of "the big boys". That days of a little guy pulling off a Microsoft are just too difficult - like a small carmaker trying to become the next Ford or Chryler.

Some interesting comments. He also mentioned that Motorola's modem chip division (cannot recall how it was exactly referred to) was up for sale.

Looking for some divine intervention soon. This stock is wild - the lack of volume today was flabbergasting and can only point to MM'ers playing volume/price games. Cannot believe the investment community can just forget about a stock over the weekend.

Regards,

Dave
