I have studied the human midn for a long time and the problem is unsolvable, IMO, because it is a matter of not being able to understand. Most people on earth have not developed their minds enough to think abstractly enough. Most don't even know one needs to do that.

They know a brain surgeon needs to educate themselves about brains, but they dont' know they need to educate their brians to make sophisticated decisions about this planet we all share?

Just look at how AGW has become a political football? We broke the 1895 US heat record in March by 8.6%!! We are waming 200,000 times faster than at any time in the past and the right wing denies it.

99% of atmospheric scientists confirm our worst fears and the bulk of the people look right at the problem and yawn.
